Animind Privacy Policy
1. What Animind Does
Animind lets users create AI-generated collectible pet cards from pet photos, choose card styles and personalities, buy one-time consumable treat packs, restyle cards, and chat with generated pet personalities.
2. Information We Collect
Account Information
If you sign in, Animind may receive information from Apple, Google, and Firebase Authentication, such as user ID, email address, display name if provided, authentication provider, and sign-in status. Animind also supports limited guest browsing through anonymous Firebase sessions.
Pet Photos and Generated Content
When you choose a photo to create a card, Animind processes the photo to generate the requested card. The image, related prompt, and generation request may be sent to our backend and AI service providers for the purpose of producing the card.
Generated cards, generated card art, and chat history are primarily stored on your device. Animind does not use Firestore as a cloud card library for your cards, chats, or battle history.
Chat Messages
When you chat with a generated card, your message and card context may be sent to our backend and AI service providers to generate a reply. Chat history is primarily stored on your device.
Purchases and Treat Balance
Animind uses one-time consumable treat packs. Purchase processing is handled by Apple App Store or Google Play. Purchase validation and purchase history are handled through RevenueCat.
We may store product ID, purchase event ID, purchase status, refund status, treat balance, transaction history, RevenueCat app user ID, and Firebase user ID. We do not directly collect or store full payment card details.
Usage, Security, and Diagnostics
We may collect or generate technical information needed to operate and protect the service, including app version, platform, request IDs, rate-limit counters, security and App Check events, error logs, server logs, and abuse-prevention signals.
3. How We Use Information
We use information to create AI pet cards, generate AI chat replies, display your local card collection, validate purchases, credit and debit treats, restore purchases, prevent fraud and abuse, enforce rate limits, provide support, maintain app security, and improve app reliability.
4. AI Processing
Animind uses AI service providers, including OpenAI, to process selected photos, text prompts, generated card text, and chat messages. These services process content to provide the requested generation or reply. Do not upload content that you do not have the right to use.
5. Third-Party Services
Animind may use the following service providers:
- Firebase / Google Cloud for authentication, backend functions, app security, economy records, transaction records, and server logs
- Apple for Sign in with Apple and App Store purchases
- Google for Google Sign-In and Google Play purchases
- RevenueCat for purchase validation, purchase history, and consumable product handling
- OpenAI for AI card and chat generation
6. Local Storage
Animind stores certain app data on your device using local storage, secure storage, and the device file system. This can include cards, generated card art, chat sessions, cached profile state, offline economy cache, and app preferences. If you delete the app, clear app data, or change devices, locally stored cards and chats may be lost unless you exported or backed them up.
7. Sharing
We do not sell personal information. We may share information with service providers needed to operate Animind, when required by law or platform review, to protect against fraud or abuse, or in connection with a business transfer.
8. Data Retention
We retain account, purchase, transaction, support, and economy records for as long as needed to operate Animind, provide support, prevent fraud, satisfy platform requirements, and comply with legal obligations. Cards and chats stored locally remain on your device until you delete them, clear app data, or uninstall the app.
9. Your Choices
You can use guest mode for limited browsing, sign in with Apple or Google for paid account features, delete individual cards where available, restore or sync purchases from the treat shop, and request account or data deletion by contacting support.

10. Children
Animind is not intended for children under 13. If you believe a child has provided personal information through Animind, contact us so we can review and delete it where appropriate.
11. International Processing
Your information may be processed in countries other than your own, including countries where our service providers operate.
12. Changes
We may update this Privacy Policy as Animind changes. The latest version will be posted on this page.
